My fellow Neocitizens are doing it again. What are they doing? Cool stuff! Check out these projects:

And here are a couple of other cool links I found while toodling around the web:

Reading

I was in heaven the last couple weeks because I had 3 books I was really looking forward to and now this week I'm very close to finishing the 3rd one and not sure what I'm reading after that. I have others on my e-reader but I'm really not feeling any of them at the moment. The book I'm about to finish, Shadowmarch, is the first in a 4 book series by Tad Williams. I loved his Memory, Sorrow and Thorn series but even though I was excited about this series at first, not sure how I'm feeling about it now. It was written 16 years after The Dragonbone Chair but I feel like the writing was better in the earlier novel. This one isn't bad but I just don't know if I want to read the follow ups just yet.

Watching

I finished up Grantchester today and boy, that was kind of a let down. This series has been going on a while and I think it's starting to show. Characters were inconsistent in behavior and I feel like they didn't really utilize the new vicar. Will I watch the next season? Of course! This is one of my cozy comforts, even if it did leave me slightly disappointed this season. The same thing happened with Father Brown - as the seasons went on it seemed to have lost something. The last season I watched - maybe it was 10? - just seemed a little more farcical rather than light-hearted. If I can get my hands on more Father Brown without having to subscribe to yet another service, will I watch it? Of course! Once again it's a comfort watch.

I finally allowed myself to start watching season 2 of Slow Horses. After having binged season 1 in one day, I made myself take a break. I have watched episode 1 and I am totally jonesing for all the rest. I don't care if I have to go to work tomorrow, I will watch them all! Well, I won't, but that's what I want to do. I'm telling myself that if I limit it to once a week, it will last longer. Not sure I can keep convincing myself that delayed gratification is really what I want in this case.

I was going to say more but I've already spent a lot of time this weekend fiddling around with the site. You know how it goes - you go to change one thing and find 43 others to change. I think I'm ready to get off the computer and go do something else.
