I think I've figured out a navigation link solution! I was complaining in my last post that I didn't like what I had going and I would probably just think it to death. Well, I did think at it a lot but I also actually did something and it looks a lot better than it did. I went from a grid format to just centered paragraphs of links and when I was testing it, I thought it looked a lot better. Hopefully it will still look better when I upload the new and improved index.

Finished the Barbara Hambly duology I was working on in the last post. It was good although the secret of where the magical power was coming from was really no secret. I'm not always tuned in to things being telegraphed but even I could see this coming way before the characters did. It kept me entertained, though, so it did its job nicely. Now I'm working on a book that was gifted to me, Midnight Riot by Ben Aaronovitch. I'm just barely into it but so far I'm enjoying it. Reading is going slow, though. I'm feeling particularly spacy and uable to concentrate during the day so I will try reading in bed, which will usually end up with me falling asleep before too long and having the Kindle fall on my face.

I've been really craving another good k-drama to get into. It's in my About page but I favor the ones with a mystical element, like Goblin or Chicago Typewriter. I found Live Up to Your Name on Netflix and it got really good reviews on the kdramarecommends subreddit so I thought I was good to go. It has time travel in it! I'm halfway into the second episode and it is a lot more goofy than I was ready for. I'll keep watching, at least for a little bit, but I think I might be disappointed.

I was all gungho on my pixel arting and then that kind of died away. I was doing the daily Pixel challenges but that dropped off. Part of it is my work schedule. I work 10 hour days and I can't really use the work computers for fun stuff because IT has all the fun stuff blocked. I did try working out pixel drawings on graph paper but by the time I get home, feed the cats, take a shower, get something to eat, well, there isn't much of my night left to play and I don't necessarily want to spend it figuring out graphics. I'm still interested in it though! Just trying to figure out how to fit everything in to the hours I have available.

Another season of Derry Girls is up and I've been savoring that and trying not to shotgun all the episodes. My Life is Murder with Lucy Lawless is also back with new episodes. Woohoo! I want to get started on this last season of Last Kingdom but I'm waiting for my son to start watching, too, so we can discuss episodes. I also have the last seasons of The Expanse and Peaky Blinders but those are also shows I watch with him so I'm just waiting for a time when our schedules converge.

Til next time-
