I work 4 10s, Monday-Thursday. And for some reason on Thursdays, unless I'm on call, I get excited and think WOOHOO, Weekend has started! and plan all sorts of things to do on Thursday night. It invariably ends up with me crashing and burning at about my regular time. Last night I fell asleep in front of the TV and woke up at 10:30. TOTAL PARTY ANIMAL. What can I say?
I finished another book last night, Tad Williams' "The Heart of What Was Lost." It was supposed to be a follow up to the Memory, Sorrow and Thorn trilogy that I just finished and loved so much. This one, though? Honestly, kind of boring. The antagonists in MST were kind of one-dimensional and this did flesh them out some but still ... I kind of slogged through this one. That was the last of the library books that I had out on loan so I think I'm ready to delve into my Kickstarter books. But which ones? The anthologies or the middle school fantasy? I'm leaning towards the fantasy.
I have holes in my pop cultural knowledge and I filled one of those today - I watched Predator. Oh my, it was SO 80s! It was a fun romp, no regrets on watching it.
